The children are currently working on a literacy project with the theme of Fairy tales. A friendly dragon keeps visiting the room delivering all sorts of things for the children to work on.
A fund raising drive has seen enough money being raised for a summer house for younger children to be built.
The classroom has been praised by many people for its active learning opportunities. As one recent visitor to the school said, 'I've never seen such an interesting classtroom.'
We have create aliens and flying saucers who are coming to Scotland to learn all about our country. The children are currently very enthusiastic on doing show and tell. We've been shown starfish, army hats, fridge magnets, drawings and toys.
The class will take charge of organising the school concert as part of enterprise work.
